# Beartooth Release New Single 'Eyes Closed' from Upcoming Album

**Beartooth** have released their new single "Eyes Closed**"** alongside an official music video directed by **Zebulon Griffin**.

The track is the fourth preview of the band's sixth studio album, *Pure Ecstasy*, which arrives August 28 through **Fearless Records**. It follows the previously released "Free," "Bullshit," and the album's title track.

"Eyes Closed" captures the disorienting feeling of watching life change faster than the mind can process it.

"There are so many fun riffs to play on 'Eyes Closed,'" **Shomo** said. He added that screaming through the track gave him an opportunity to let go and described the song as something special from its earliest demo.

**Shomo** wrote "Eyes Closed" from the ground up with former **Bring Me the Horizon** keyboardist and producer **Jordan Fish**, who has also worked with artists including **Architects**, **Poppy**, and **House of Protection**.

*Pure Ecstasy* will contain 11 tracks and follow Beartooth's 2023 album, *The Surface*. The upcoming record continues the more hopeful direction introduced on its predecessor while pushing the band further into polished, electronically charged rock without abandoning its metalcore foundation.

**Beartooth** will support the album with an international headlining tour beginning in Europe before reaching the United States later this year.
