# Forbidden Announces First Album in 16 Years and Headlining Tour

San Francisco Bay Area thrash metal veterans **Forbidden** will return October 23 with their first album in 16 years. The band's self-titled record will be released through **BLKIIBLK**, the heavy metal imprint of **Frontiers Label Group**.

The long-awaited follow-up to 2010's *Omega Wave* was recorded at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California, with engineer and co-producer **Zack Ohren**.

Alongside the album announcement, **Forbidden** have released the new single "Psyclops**"** and its accompanying music video.

The band will support *Forbidden* (the album) with a run of headlining tour dates featuring **Heathen** and **Void**.
