Pantera Announces Two-Day 'Great NOLA Trendkill' Festival
The New Orleans event will bring Pantera together with Down, Black Label Society, and several pillars of the city's sludge metal scene.
Texas metal legends Pantera will headline a new two-day metal festival in New Orleans, "The Great NOLA Trendkill." Pantera has just confirmed the complete initial lineup.
Set for November 20 and 21 at Lakefront Arena, the event will bring Pantera together with Down, Black Label Society, Power Trip, Corrosion of Conformity, Crowbar, Pig Destroyer, Eyehategod, Rāde, and Herakleion.
The festival's name plays on Pantera's 1996 album, The Great Southern Trendkill, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
The event will place vocalist Philip H. Anselmo at the center of two of its biggest attractions through his roles in both Pantera and Down.
An artist presale is now live and will continue through Thursday, September 10 at 10 p.m. Central. Tickets will go on sale to the general public Friday, September 11 at 10 a.m. Central through Pantera's official tour page.
