# SEVENTEEN's Vernon and DK Announce Military Enlistment Dates

**SEVENTEEN** members **Vernon** and **DK** have confirmed the dates for their mandatory military service.

According to an announcement from **PLEDIS Entertainment**, **Vernon** is scheduled to begin alternative service on August 20, while **DK** will enlist as an active-duty soldier in the South Korean Army on September 8.

Both members are expected to participate in their scheduled official activities until their respective service dates. No public events are planned to mark their enlistments, and the agency asks fans not to visit the training center or **Vernon's** alternative-service workplace.

**Vernon** and **DK** will be unable to participate in **SEVENTEEN's** group activities while serving. However, **PLEDIS** said the two prepared content in advance that will allow them to remain connected with the group's fans.

The pair join several **SEVENTEEN** members who have fulfilled or are currently completing their military obligations. **Jeonghan** completed his service in June, while **Wonwoo**, **Hoshi**, and **Woozi** remain on duty.
