SEVENTEEN's Vernon and DK Announce Military Enlistment Dates
PLEDIS Entertainment revealed how the two members will remain connected with CARATs during their time away.
SEVENTEEN members Vernon and DK have confirmed the dates for their mandatory military service.
According to an announcement from PLEDIS Entertainment, Vernon is scheduled to begin alternative service on August 20, while DK will enlist as an active-duty soldier in the South Korean Army on September 8.
Both members are expected to participate in their scheduled official activities until their respective service dates. No public events are planned to mark their enlistments, and the agency asks fans not to visit the training center or Vernon's alternative-service workplace.
Vernon and DK will be unable to participate in SEVENTEEN's group activities while serving. However, PLEDIS said the two prepared content in advance that will allow them to remain connected with the group's fans.
The pair join several SEVENTEEN members who have fulfilled or are currently completing their military obligations. Jeonghan completed his service in June, while Wonwoo, Hoshi, and Woozi remain on duty.
