Sleep Token's 'Take Me Back to Eden' Certified Platinum
Three years after its release, Sleep Token's breakthrough record continues to reach new heights.
Sleep Token have earned their first Platinum album in the United States with 2023's Take Me Back to Eden.
The album has officially surpassed one million equivalent units in the country, earning Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. The milestone also makes Take Me Back to Eden the first album in Spinefarm Records' history to achieve Platinum status.
Released May 19, 2023, Take Me Back to Eden served as the final installment in the trilogy Sleep Token began with 2019's Sundowning and continued with 2021's This Place Will Become Your Tomb. The album has since accumulated more than two billion streams worldwide.
The record also features "The Summoning," which has earned an RIAA Gold certification representing 500,000 equivalent units in the United States. The track became one of Sleep Token's defining releases and helped propel the masked group to a significantly larger international audience.
Take Me Back to Eden reached No. 3 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 16 on the Billboard 200 upon its release. In the years that followed, Sleep Token rose to arena-headlining status and sold out two U.S. tours.
