**Wendy's** has officially entered its emo era with *Songs to Listen to in a Wendy's Parking Lot*, a six-track EP featuring vocalists from **blessthefall**, **Memphis May Fire**, **Silverstein**, **State Champs**, and more.

Released in partnership with **Rise Records** and produced by **Matt Squire**, the 22-minute project transforms fast-food rituals into melodramatic pop-punk and post-hardcore confessionals. **Wendy's** says the record was created with real musicians — not generated by artificial intelligence — in an effort to treat the genre as more than the setup for a marketing joke.

**Memphis May Fire** frontman **Matty Mullins** opens the EP with "She Said She Didn't Want Fries (She Lied)," while **Winona Fighter** vocalist **Chloe Kinnon** appears on "Salt in the Wound."

**Silverstein's Shane Told** contributes "I Miss the Sunroom," a tribute to the glass dining-room additions once found at older **Wendy's** locations. **Beau Bokan** of **blessthefall** takes the lead on "The Best Combo Meal on the Worst Night of My Life," pairing relationship misery with Frosty spoons and parking-lot isolation.

**State Champs** vocalist **Derek DiScanio** appears on "It's Not a Phase, It's a 10PC,” and **Holy Wars** singer **Kat Leon** closes the record with the appropriately dramatic "My Frosty's Funeral."

The complete tracklist is:

1. She Said She Didn't Want Fries (She Lied) featuring Matty Mullins
2. Salt in the Wound featuring Chloe Kinnon
3. I Miss the Sunroom featuring Shane Told
4. The Best Combo Meal on the Worst Night of My Life featuring Beau Bokan
5. It's Not a Phase, It's a 10PC featuring Derek DiScanio
6. My Frosty's Funeral featuring Kat Leon

According to **Wendy's**, the concept grew out of the strangely universal experience of sitting in one of its parking lots during an emotionally complicated late-night food run. That premise runs through the entire release, with lyrics built around fries dipped in Frostys, empty cups, square hamburgers, discontinued sunrooms, and ten-piece nugget orders.

It's not the restaurant chain's first unexpected venture into music. **Wendy's** previously released the hip-hop mixtape *We Beefin?* in 2018, using its famously confrontational social-media personality to take aim at competing fast-food brands. This time, the attitude has been replaced by eyeliner, side-swept bangs, and enough heartbreak to fill an abandoned mall food court.

*Songs to Listen to in a Wendy's Parking Lot* is available now across the major streaming platforms. **Wendy's** is also rolling out music videos, behind-the-scenes material, and additional content connected to the release.
